International Mountain Day Cards

International Mountain Day is observed annually on December 11th to raise awareness about the importance of mountains to life, draw attention to the challenges faced by mountain peoples, and promote sustainable mountain development. It was designated by the United Nations General Assembly in 2003 to highlight the crucial role that mountains play in environmental stability, water sources, and biodiversity, as well as their cultural significance.
