National Nothing Day Cards
National Nothing Day was created by Harold Pullman Coffin in 1973 as a deliberately anti-holiday: a single day on which people are encouraged to do nothing, refrain from celebrating, and take a break from the cycle of events and commercial observances. It is observed informally and is not a federal or widely legislated holiday; it appears on some novelty and popular calendars as a lighthearted reminder to rest, reflect, and resist mandatory celebration.
