Remembrance Sunday Cards

Remembrance Sunday is an annual day of commemoration observed in the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth countries to honour members of the armed forces who have died in the line of duty. It originated after World War I following the Armistice of 11 November 1918, with the first national observances beginning in 1919. Held on the Sunday nearest to Armistice Day, ceremonies typically include wreath-laying at war memorials (notably the Cenotaph in London), the wearing of red poppies, and a two-minute silence at 11:00.
